January 16 – January 27 Look Ahead

Sitework and Central Utility Plant – Testing, Inspections, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems are ongoing at the Central Utility Plant (CUP). For site work, grading of the interim landscape continues in the phase 2 area of campus. Barging of horticultural soils will continue through the end of January. The retaining wall at the southwest corner of the Bloomberg Center will be poured during this period. Precast seatwall foundation installation on the west side of the Bridge (Co-Location Building) continues concurrently with other underground infrastructure in the area. Sidewalk installation continues on the South Road in this period.

Co-Location Building –Soffit work is ongoing on the two main cantilevers. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) rough in continues throughout the building as does interior framing. Drywall installation is underway and will continue throughout the building.

Residential Building – At the Residential Building, installation of the façade panels in the hoistway will commence. Shoemolding installation will begin on floors 14 through 16. Wood floor installation is ongoing in floors 21 and 22. Storefront work continues.

Bloomberg Center – Soffit work and roofing continue on the exterior of the Bloomberg Center. Additional exterior work includes prepping of all cantilevered terraces for waterproofing and the installation of anchors at Stair 5 in preparation for glass façade installation. Interior framing and MEP work continues on all floors.
