Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – Commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems is ongoing in the Central Utility Plan (CUP). North façade anchoring systems installation will continue through this period. Work in the South Road is ongoing. With the underground infrastructure for street lighting complete, work will begin at grade as the sidewalk subgrade is prepped, concrete forms are placed and the sidewalk is poured.  Excavation for new sidewalk and tree pits around the southern perimeter of the site is ongoing. Grading in the phase 2 area of the site continues.   

Geothermal – Inside the Bloomberg Center, the geothermal system installation is nearing completion. The system will be filled in this period and testing/commissioning will likely begin at the end of this period.

Co-Location Building – Glass curtain wall continues to be installed on the east and west sides of the building. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) rough in continues throughout the building as does interior framing. Drywall installation is underway and will continue throughout the building.The vapor barrier on the roof is being installed in this period.  

Residential Building – At the Residential Building, air barriers (part of the passive house technology) are being installed throughout the building.  Framing and drywall continues on the upper floors. Caulking on the north and east face is ongoing. 

Bloomberg Center –Façade panel installation will continue on the south side of the Bloomberg Center. Roofing is scheduled to begin on the main section of the roof. Fire stopping will be installed at the roof level. Soffit installation on the north side will begin in the first week of the period.  Interior fit out continues. Final tightening and adjustments are being made on the halo (photovoltaic steel).

Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – Commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems is ongoing in the Central Utility Plan (CUP). North façade anchoring systems installation is ongoing. Work in the South Road is ongoing and includes excavation for new electric lines for street lights and prepping for new sidewalk on the south side of the road adjacent to South Point Park. Excavation for new sidewalk and tree pits around the southern perimeter of the site is ongoing. Grading in the phase 2 area of the site continues.   

Geothermal – Inside the Bloomberg Center, the geothermal team continues work on the chiller fit out. Piping raceways are still being installed connecting the wells to the geothermal system inside the building. Power for the system will be coming on line in the coming weeks and commissioning is scheduled to start in the beginning of October.

Co-Location Building – Glass curtain wall continues to be installed on the east and west sides of the building. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) rough in continues throughout the building as does interior framing.   

Residential Building – At the Residential Building, air barriers (part of the passive house technology) are being installed on the 1st, 2nd, 25th, and 26 floors. Framing and drywall continues on the upper floors.Caulking on the north and east face is ongoing. 

Bloomberg Center –Façade panel installation will continue on the south side of the Bloomberg Center. Roofing is underway on the mechanical penthouse.  Interior fit out continues. Final tightening and adjustments are being made on the halo (photovoltaic steel).

Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – Installation of non Con Edison louvers will continue in this period. North façade anchoring systems installation will begin this period. On the West Road, the new street lights will be connected to Con Ed’s primary service feed. Work in the South Road will include prepping for new street light footings and conduit as well as setting rough grade for the new sidewalk. Grading in the phase 2 area of the site continues.   

Geothermal – Inside the Bloomberg Center, the geothermal team will be setting pumps and the heat exchanger in the basement. Installation of geothermal pipe within the building will also continue.

Co-Location Building – Glass curtain wall continues to be installed on the east and west sides of the building. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) rough in continues throughout the building as does interior framing.   

Residential Building – The tower crane will begin to be broken down in the first week of this period and will leave the site by the end of the period. Suspension scaffolds are being installed on the north façade so the exterior sealing (caulking) can begin. Framing of apartment walls continues through the middle floors, with sheetrock installation of the walls following close behind. The Residential Building perimeter construction fence will shift inward to allow for the continuation of sitework adjacent to the building to occur. 

Bloomberg Center –Façade panel installation will continue on the south side of the Bloomberg Center. Glass curtain wall will begin on the east facade. Electrical and mechanical fit out in the interior space continues. Halo steel installation (at the PV level) will be complete by the end of this period.

Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – Interior fit out continues at the Central Utility Plant (CUP). With the CUP fully reliant on permanent power, the temporary power infrastructure will be removed. Commissioning of the rooftop mechanical systems continues. Installation of the roof screen and non Con Edison louvers will begin in this period. The southern portion of the East Road will be rough graded and utility castings will be set to grade. Electrical work will be completed at the storm water storage tank. Installation of the bioinfiltration areas at Campus Lawn will be completed in this period. Installation of the filtration zones under pavement on the south side of Campus Lawn will begin in the second week of this period. Concrete footings for the precast benches at Campus Lawn will be surveyed and excavation will begin for same in this period.   

Geothermal – Inside the Bloomberg Center, the geothermal team is installing overhead pipe in the cellar. Additionally, insulation of the condenser water piping risers is underway. The geothermal team is scheduled to install the cooling tower on the roof of the Bloomberg Center within this period.

Co-Location Building – Glass curtain wall continues to be installed on all sides. Additionally, the installation of the storefront on the west side of the building will begin in this period. The last concrete pour is scheduled within this period as the parapet nears completion. MEP rough in continues throughout the building as does interior framing.    

Residential Building – Façade panel installation completion is drawing near and should be complete within this period. Framing of apartment walls continues through the middle floors, with sheetrock installation of the walls following close behind. The Residential Building perimeter construction fence will shift inward to allow for the continuation of sitework adjacent to the building to occur. 

Bloomberg Center –Façade panel installation will continue at the southeast side of the Bloomberg Center. Glass curtain wall will continue on the west facade. Electrical and mechanical fit out in the interior space continues. Halo steel installation (at the PV level) continues throughout this period.

Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – Interior fitout continues at the Central Utility Plant (CUP). This work includes tile installation in the bathroom, hanging of overhead conduit, and security communications rough in. Installed conduits for future phases will be capped. Curbs are being installed in the south part of the East Loop Road. Installed steel faced curbs are being prepped and painted. Work at the Rainwater Harvesting System tank continues. Electrical conduit and water piping have been installed and are awaiting backfill which should occur in the second week of the period.    

Geothermal – Backfilling of installed lateral piping should be complete in the second week of the period. The plumbing subcontractor will then mobilize inside the Bloomberg Center for continuation of work which will include installation of the chiller modules within this period. Additionally in this period, the geothermal team will look to hoist some cooling tower components onto the roof of the Bloomberg Center.

Co-Location Building – Glass curtain wall continues to be installed. Additional work on the exterior includes installation of precast foundation pieces, installation of the skylight, and installation of canopy steel. Interior work to occur in this period includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) rough in and interior wall framing. 

Residential Building – Façade panel installation is drawing to a close and should be complete within this period. Framing of apartment walls continues through the middle floors, with sheetrock installation of the walls following close behind.

Bloomberg Center –Façade panel installation will move to the southeast side of the Bloomberg Center in the second week of the period and glass curtain wall will begin on the south side of the building in the first week of the period.  Electrical and mechanical fitout in the interior space continues. Halo steel installation (at the PV level) will begin in the second week of the period. The second floor will be ground and polished in this period as well.

Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – Testing and commissioning of mechanical systems continue through the period. Conduits and Racks in the campus utility vault continue to be installed. Curb work on the north loop road will shift to the south side of the street in the first week of the period. In the second week of the period, curb installation will begin in the southern part of the east loop road. Overflow connections will be made at the storm water storage tank in coordination with adjacent geothermal work. Grading in the phase 2 area will continue and is projecting to continue through early fall. CCTV inspections of the newly installed storm and sanitary sewers will continue into the first week of the period. 

Geothermal – Circuits 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be tested and backfilled in this period. Work on the second half of the main line manifold system will begin in this period in coordination with related site work. Work inside the building will commence with assembly of the chiller modules.

Co-Location Building – Glass curtain wall continues to be installed. A crane will be delivered via barge in the first week of the period to facilitate the installation of mechanical equipment on the roof. A second façade crane is scheduled to be delivered in the second week of the period to supplement façade installation. Electrical and mechanical fitout in the interior continues. 

Residential Building – Façade work continues at the Residential Building with panels being installed on all sides and will reach the 25th floor by the end of the period. Interior framing will be up to the 22nd floor in the second week of this period and plumbing work will continue on the 26th floor. The building will be switched over to permanent power via the Central Utility Plant in the first week of the period.  Elevator work inside the building is ongoing. Insulation and drywall will be fully installed up the 7th floor by the end of the period.

Bloomberg Center –Façade panel installation will move to the southeast side of the Bloomberg Center in the second week of the period and glass curtain wall will begin on the first floor along the west façade in the first week of the period. Electrical and mechanical fitout in the interior space continues.

Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – Testing and commissioning of mechanical systems are underway at the Central Utility Plant (CUP). Additionally, electric feeder pulls for the Bloomberg Center are ongoing. Conduits and Racks in the campus utility vault continue to be installed. The remaining telecom duct banks in the East Loop Road will be backfilled in the first week of the period and the last pieces of underground infrastructure the roadways will be complete by the end of June. In the second week of the period we will be testing the high pressure gas main in the perimeter road. Upon acceptance from Con Ed the gas line will be pressurized. CCTV inspections of the newly installed storm and sanitary sewers is scheduled to start in the second week of the period. Curbs will be installed in the North Loop Road in this period and curb work will shift to the south side of the East Loop Road. Grading of the Phase 2 area of campus is ongoing as areas become available. Work at the Rainwater Harvesting System Tank is ongoing and being coordinated with the installation of the horizontal piping for the Geothermal System. The installed curbs on the West and South Loop Roads will be painted in the second week of the period. 

Geothermal – Circuits 1 and 2 (eastern most well field lines) will be tested and backfilled in the beginning of the period. Excavation at Circuits 5/6, 3, 4 will be complete in this period. Testing of circuit 5/6 as well as the lower section of the main lines at the Bloomberg Center will be complete and the circuits and half of the main section will be backfilled in this period. The chiller modules for the geothermal system will be delivered and installed in the second week of the period.

Co-Location Building – Installation of the precast concrete exposed foundation panels is ongoing and completion is scheduled for the second week of the period. Glass curtain wall continues to be installed. Final sections of the roof will be poured in this period. Electrical and mechanical fitout in the interior continues. 

Residential Building – Façade work continues at the Residential Building with panels being installed on all sides and will reach the 22nd floor by the end of the period. Interior framing will be up to the 20th floor in the second week of this period and plumbing will reach the 26rd floor by the end of the period as well. Elevator work inside the building is ongoing. Insulation and drywall will be fully installed up the 5th floor by the end of the period.

Bloomberg Center –Façade panel installation will move to the east side of the Bloomberg Center and glass curtain wall will begin in the southwest corner moving north along the west façade in the first week of the period. The café space on the first floor will have its floor slab poured in the first week of the period. Weather tight spaces for the electrical equipment rooms will be complete in the second week of the period as all buildings will be looking to transition to the permanent power in  the coming weeks.

Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – At the Central Utility Plant (CUP), louver installation at the transformer vaults will continue through the second week of the period. Power feeds from the CUP to the Bloomberg Center will begin in the second week of the period. Electrical and mechanical work is also ongoing in the CUP. In the North Loop Road, curb installation will continue through the second week of the period.  Final utility installation in the southern section of the East Loop Road should be wrapping up by the end of the period. Plumbers and electricians are working on connections from the rainwater harvesting system’s tank to the Bloomberg Center, and the storm lines to and from same will be complete by the end of the period. Landforms are starting to take shape in the Phase 2 area of the site and will continue through the summer.  Controlled access to and from points south of the Cornell Tech Site will be switched to the West and South Loop Road in this period. 

Geothermal – Pipe installation is ongoing in the well field and trenching for same is underway at the Bloomberg Center.

Co-Location Building – The roof and parapet for the Bridge (CoLo) will be poured in this period. Precast concrete exposed foundation panels will be installed during this period on the south and north side of the building. Glass Façade Panels will start to be installed in the first week of the period.  The façade operation will continue through September of this year. Mechanical and electrical work continues inside the Bridge. 

Residential Building – Façade work continues at the Residential Building with panels being installed on all sides and will reach the 15th floor by the end of the period. Interior framing will be up to the 18th floor in the second week of this period and plumbing will reach the 23rd floor by the end of the period as well. Elevator work inside the building is ongoing. 

Bloomberg Center –Façade installation will continue on the west side of the Bloomberg Center. A second crane will mobilize for the glass curtain wall at the southwest corner of the building. Interior fit out continues for all trades.

Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – Interior fit out continues at the Central Utility Plant. In the roadways, remaining pieces of infrastructure will be complete toward the end of this period with work occurring in the southern part of the East Loop Road. Paving will begin on Monday, May 23 commencing at the north end of the site on the West Loop Road and continuing to the southeast corner of the South Loop Road.  Curbing will begin on the East Loop Road. The rainwater harvesting system tank has been installed and plumbing and electrical connections for same will begin in the first week of the period. 

Geothermal – With drilling for the wells now complete, work beginning next week will consist of installing the pipes in the well field and making connections to the wells.

Co-Location Building – Mechanical and electrical work continues inside the Bridge. Additional interior work includes spray on fireproofing and framing. Precast panel installation is scheduled to begin in the beginning of the period. The roof is scheduled to be poured toward the end of this period.

Residential Building – Façade work continues at the Residential Building with panels being installed on all sides and will reach the 13th floor by the end of the period. Interior framing will be up to the 16th floor in the second week of this period and plumbing will reach the 20th floor by the end of the period as well. Elevator work inside the building is ongoing. 

Bloomberg Center – Interior fit out continues at the Bloomberg Center. Next week a pour for an interior stair is scheduled. Façade installation will continue on the west side of the building moving from south to north. A second façade crane will mobilize in the beginning of the period and start on the north façade.

Roadwork and Central Utility Plant – At the Central Utility Plant (CUP) the second and third generators are scheduled to come on line in coordination with Con Ed. Interior fit out continues. Electrical Feeds from the CUP will be brought into the Bridge building. The gas line will be complete in the south road by the end of the period. Curb work is underway on the west road and should be continuing into the South Road by the end of the period. The Rainwater Harvesting System tank is scheduled to be installed in the beginning of the period with backfilling of same to follow. 

Geothermal – Drilling in the geothermal area will be complete in this period and mobilization for excavation contractor and plumber will occur toward the end of the period. 

Co-Location Building – Mechanical and electrical work continues inside the Bridge. Additional interior work includes spray on fireproofing and framing. Precast panel installation is scheduled to begin in the beginning of the period. 

Residential Building – Façade work continues at the Residential Building with panels being installed on all sides and will reach the 10th floor by the end of the period. Interior framing will be up to the 14th floor in the second week of this period and plumbing will reach the 18th floor by the end of the period as well. Elevator work inside the building is ongoing. 

Bloomberg Center – Interior fit out continues at the Bloomberg Center. Façade installation is scheduled to commence in the second week of the period.
